The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is available to those who desire to excel in and influence the direction of global contemporary art and culture (BFA). To explore your ideas, hobbies, and interests, you will be encouraged to try out a range of artistic styles, mediums, and techniques.
You will specialize in one major of your choice, either studio practice or art theory. Because both courses offer professional experience, research skills, and alternatives for optional study, you will be prepared for a number of jobs and professional circumstances in today's art industry and related creative professions.

Program Structure:
The Bachelor of Fine Arts program, which lasts three years and is full-time, consists of 24 courses. Depending on whether you choose to major in Studio Practice or Art Theory, the program differs, including:

6 Core and 6 Disciplinary studio courses
4 Theory courses
Art Theory
6 Core and 10 Art Theory Major courses
6 Free electives and 2 General education courses

Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements
Year 12 equivalent
Having at least a Certificate IV Students with an ATAR (or comparable rank) that is slightly below the predicted cut-off have the option to submit a portfolio.
English Language Requirements
In order to study at UNSW, you may be required to provide proof of English proficiency, depending on your educational history and citizenship. UNSW demands a minimum level of English language competency for enrolment since English language skills are crucial for coping with lectures, tutorials, assignments, and exams.
It will be mentioned in your application if proof of English proficiency is necessary. You can do so by demonstrating that you meet at least one of the following requirements:
