Entry Requirements

English language skills requirements

  • Have successfully passed the LLN exam or have completed Year 12 (within the last 10 years at an accredited or tertiary level) with at least a C grade average in English and Math (ACSF level 4).

  • Age of majority is 18 years old.

  • Possess a valid licence. Card for Working with Vulnerable People

  • Possess a valid licence. Hospital Employment: Australian Federal Police Check, Code 08

  • Please be aware that a police check with a disclosure may preclude Industry Placement, which could limit your ability to enrol in the course and/or advance in it.

  • Own a current immunization/vaccination record, such as a vaccination card (PDF 289Kb)

  • Possess rudimentary computer skills

  • Use the letter found at this site as your general practitioner's certification of your suitability to perform nursing tasks. A GP letter (PDF 227Kb)

  • An up-to-date First Aid Certificate

  • The influenza vaccine is now a requirement for all students, according to ACT Health.
