Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or science from a three- or four-year program with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 65 percent (or its equivalent) in a relevant discipline.


  • Those who do not have the aforementioned certification may still be admitted if they have equivalent prior learning. You must, however, be able to explain how your prior education compares to the aforementioned certification.


  • For example, a 3- or 4-year bachelor's degree in science or engineering may be accepted in place of experience in a related field (each speciality will determine the particular duties and tasks that would be deemed relevant).

English Language Requirements

In order to study at UNSW, you may be required to provide proof of English proficiency, depending on your educational history and citizenship.
