Description
The Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation program prepares students to evaluate and counsel patients with complex medical conditions or chronic diseases on the benefits of regular physical activity.
Besides that, students who complete this course will be prepared to work in both community and clinical settings with patients who have musculoskeletal injuries, neurological issues, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and various comorbidities.
Also, the curriculum has a strong evidence-based teaching technique when it comes to the topic of clinical exercise physiology. This program has earned accreditation from Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
What you will study
Program Structure
Students are required to complete 144 credit points for the Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, which must include the following:
120 credit points for core units.
24 credit points for research units.
You'll learn how to assess patients with complicated medical needs or persistent diseases and recommend physical exercise to them. Through this course, you will be equipped to work with people who have: in both clinical settings and the community, including:
Musculoskeletal injuries

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an Australian university.
Completion of an equivalent to the Australian Graduate Certificate in a related field.
Admission to AMEP requires Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) accreditation as an Exercise Scientist (AES) or eligibility for Exercise Scientist accreditation.
